I designed and developed the official website for Phantom Island.
Phantom Island is a creative and game development studio. The project centered on delivering a distinctive and memorable digital presence with three key requirements:
The website is built around a minimalist yet expressive visual language that reflects Phantom Island’s experimental and artistic philosophy. While the core experience is designed as a single-screen presentation on desktop, every element of the site is fully responsive, ensuring a consistent visual experience across all devices.
The landing page features an interactive, deformable 3D Metaball, symbolizing transformation, creativity, and digital craftsmanship. Rather than using conventional hero imagery, the Metaball acts as the studio’s visual signature and interactive entry point.
Its fluid behavior reinforces Phantom Island’s identity, connecting to themes of islands, tides, and open sea horizons. Set against a black backdrop, the interface embraces a modern, minimalist aesthetic and creates a mysterious exeprience. A interpretation of the "Phantom Island" idea rather than a traditional nautical design.
Each section of the website is designed as a dedicated full-screen scene, keeping the experience focused, direct, and immersive. The structure is built so that every scene can hold multiple content elements while still maintaining the clean, single-screen presentation and uncluttered feel.
All of this content can be edited directly through CSV files, enabled by a custom script I developed, making updates fast and flexible without requiring a traditional CMS.
